so far, ive made 1 camo kit for naboo, took 2 hours, i wish bone was listed on /exa. I /conceal myself in kaadara and start running about. Im at -5000 thug faction, so i know they hate me. I dont get xp from them. In fact i got 12xp right when i put it on and then 18xp a few seconds later. the only yellow on the screen was a thug and im assuming that was what gave me xp, tho i could be wrong.

Why does Conceal generate over 30% less xp than mask scent? I dont necessarily want it to earn more xp than mask scent, but I cant see the logic for it to actually earn you less xp considering you have to make and use kits, not to mention it being a higher level skill.

Just puzzled as to what the logic might be?

Maskscent earns you 3 times the CL of a creature, and Conceal earns you only 2 times the CL of a creature.

I would guess the reduced amount of XP is due to the fact that Conceal doesn't break as often as Maskscent, so your chances of getting that XP are better. In theory you should earn more XP per use of Conceal because it lasts longer and breaks less often, whether that actually pans out I can't say I know as I've never tested it.

Not to mention that you get XP when someone else you concealed is not detected by a creature. Makes concealing a group rather useful. I did it a couple times with a group of 20 hunting in the Squill caves on Tat.

Note you will only get experience from that one creature once, even if multiple players concealed by you check against it.
