Thread: Range of Tracking ?
What I meant was, if you can't get the missions, hopefully someone else knows where they habitually spawn.
If you can't get missions from the mission terminal on them, hopefully someone else on the forums does.

P.S.
yes, i DID search for it, but nothing useful came up .-)
if i can only track 500m radius, that would mean 15 times to run up and down the map to cover a whole planet.. whoa.. thats gonna take a looong time :-)
i hope animals like (for example) the peko peko albatross arent THAT rare.. or ill have to run all day :-)
How do YOU find such creatures ? do you know where they spawn ? do you just start running in circles till you find something ?

Even if you were to take the ungodly amount of time to map a planet, creatures despawn. Something else will likely respawn there next time, so your mapping would be out of date. I might be wrong there, but I don't think so. I think there are patterns for a particular creature spawning in an area, but not the exact spot.
My suggestion would be (assuming you know what creature or type you are looking for) grab a destroy mission or two from a regular mission terminal.
Hope that helps ![]()
but lets say i want to find a peko peko albatross.. i know krayt dragons spawn in that valley (never been there), but i havent heard of a spot known for albatrosses... how would you start searching for them ?
ive only seen two in my life and ive been on naboo most of the time
I'm not all that familiar with Naboo, so I can't really say. If you can't get missions from the mission terminal on them, hopefully someone else on the forums does. Either that or alot of walking, hehe.
If you want a small guide to tracking, I wrote one up not too long back. Check out http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=ranger&message.id=21795. Hope it helps.
