Thread: Good question
As a Master Ranger I can make everything yes, but It is nice to have a crate of High Quality camps, that way i dont have to craft tehm if I dont want to and always have one rdy to go.
Camo kits I have only made for a few planets, but carry them around with me I would buy some just for the simple fact I wouldnt have to look for specific stuff before beginning my trek or what ever.
I used camo kits in the Warren, and only got aggroed once the whole way through, **edit** ATST. MAnaged to run like hell out of there.
ok I am assuming when you guys say 1 camo kit per person you mean that you need 1 charge per person? I know I created camo kists that have 5 charges to 11 charges. but the way I understood it it was one camo kit. just like the stim packs with 11 charges is one stim pack. I know with that one camo kit with 11 charges I can camo a samll group of 11 people. I know since I have done it. Not like camo's any better then masksecent but it is nice for the medics who have no mask scent.
anyhow is this what you were meaning by 1 camo per person?
I would actually consider buying a crate of Phenacine Darts and a crate of Stink Bombs--the two traps I use. Yeah, i normally just craft em as i need em, but having a crate DOES save you valuable space, and I don't need to allow little stacks of hide and bone to clog up my inventory. Another Master Ranger was running around, offering 2 cr/unit for 5k of crummy hide, and he explained to me that this is what he was doing (crates of traps--don't care about quality), and people will sell to him at that price, so it works.
For me, these would have to be pretty cheap.
The HTFB is also something that I might actually use if I had a crate of.
I've got a pile of camo kits, but I don't really use em enough to need a crate's worth.
Arggh...
As far as i know there is NO Lok domesticated meat. I dont know anyone that has found it as of yet...
But that rarity factors into the equation through the arbitrary fee costs. That is the purpose of the arbitrary costs, to assess the PLAYER VALUE of the kits. Making kits is nothing for me, and harvesting resources for them goes along with my hunting for other orders. Thus the gathering costs are non-existent.
I think it would be a good idea to sell crates of basic camp kits to Creature handlers.. seeing as they need them to call out their creatures..
Being a creature handler myself i know it's a pain to craft a camp every time i want to call out my pet
Hey...If you do this let us know. Its a great idea.

And also one to which i dont have the answers. I plan to eventually start selling these in my own Ranger/scout store. Yes this store will be specifically geared towards selling items necessary for rangers and scouts. I havent done it yet but in order to figure our my prices i will base it on the amount of resources needed per crate * 3 (standard market value)+ A (arbitrary cred value i will assignment to items based on complexity level). And after that I will adjust accordingly to what sells and what doesnt.
Certain things im sure will be able to be given higher prices, like Dath camo kits, HTFB, for instance.
