Thread: Mastered Ranger last night

Well, after 2 months of hunting (I just can't bring myself to grind) I finally mastered ranger. Doing a bunch of fishing and making field bases ever time my hunting partner and I got a hang nail finally put me over the top last night.
I don't really intend to keep it however. I want to try it for a week and see how I like it, but my intention is to drop back down to 0-4-4-0 so I can pick up some additional combat skills and make myself a better hunter. Maybe even 0-0-4-0 if I get desperate, but I'm such a bad grinder that the thought of giving up what was a brutal branch (frontiering) for me, with the possibility that it could become useful and have to do it again, is unthinkable.
As much as I love the "idea" of being a master ranger, and can probablynever completely give up ranger, I'm very much the classinc "achiever" type of player, so I do have an expectation that the things I do, and skills I foster have a point, and a tangible benefit. Right now, most of ranger unfortunately, does not.

Too bad you are not on Eclipse, I sell stuff like the higher camo kits for "part-timers".

Cool, yea, thanks for reminding me. That will be on my "to do" list before I give up MR. I would like to at least see what a master ranger /conceal on Dath will do for me.

Way to go! I can't drop Ranger simply because of the Frontiering line. Here's hoping we get some camping love to justify the line.
