Outstanding stats. Good work.

So a rough number is 30% plus or minus.

I wonder if thestats vary as we don't get parts of a unit, and the numbers round up or down depending. Not that it matters, 30% is enough to justify keeping Master for a bit.

That and the backlog of orders.

Once again, good work

Very nice. That puts it into perspective. Now we need to ge tthis into the FAQ's or at least have it floated.

Yea, it's a little wierd like that. We were calling out numbers as we harvested, and say we harvested 4 of the same creature, I might get 17, 17, 17, and 18. Every once in a while your harvest would be up or down a single unit, never more than that. So dunno, but yea, 30% seems to be the conclusion I came to as well, which to me was a slightly pleasant surprise, I thought it would be less than that.

Looks like there's no relation between CL and percentage difference, which i think was suggested a while back.

edit: Levels from SWGcreatures.com. Some might be pre-november patch, in which case they would be innacurate.

Here are some statistics I compiled on my latest hunting trip. My friend and I were grouped, he has hunting 4 in scout, I have tracking 4 in ranger. Just for a quick overview:

Master Scout +5 harvesting

Novice Ranger +5 harvesting

Tracking 1: +5 harvesting

Tracking 2: +10 harvesting

Tracking 3: +10 harvesting

Tracking 4: +10 harvesting

===================

+45 harvesting

Ok, I am kind of confused. is that +5 to +45 resources that you get per creature?

If you could, please explain how these numbers work versus % / size of creature.

You need to do some high-end hunting, things like rancors and such which get around 100-200 units per, and see if the difference is anymore notable.. But good work all the same.

I have, and it still is about 30% for Master Scout vs Master Ranger. 200 vs 140 or so.

Those +5/+10 harvesting figures I added to the top of the post were just the skill mods involved in going from hunting 4 to tracking 4. That is a skill that you see in your abilities screen. I just thought it would be interesting to see how those number related to actual percentage difference. Bottom line seems to be that +45 harvesting skillequates to about +30% actual harvests. This also gives us insight into what sort of harvesting differences we can expect when using vegash.

Fred, you may want to recheck those figures. 200/140 does not equal a 30% increase.. It's closer to a 42% increase.

Not to pick at nits.. but a 42% increased compared to a 30% increase is a bit more than a nit.

That is what the "or so" bit is. I think it was 190 vs 130 in actuality... but I remember a 210 dropper for me once, I did a silly "emotional calculation" to get an average, probably should not have done that.

does the health of the creature effect the difference in yields between the scout levels and ranger levels? (my guess is no.)
