They work like maskscent only they work on NPCs too. They work better on high level creatures than maskscent.

Since you're grinding to get through don't use them. You get more scout xp from maskscent than camo.

To get through Trapping:

1. Get buffed and brandy.

2. Makea lot of Wire mesh traps.

3. Wear Ubese armor.

4. Find a picket and throw traps at it all the way to Trapping IV.

To get through Survival:

1. Make a camp to heal and put in a populated area like Coronet to get passerbys to go through them.

2. Practice making camps.

3. Take down the camp after 26 minutes.

4. Repeat (use a higher level camp if you get one).

This is slow, but it'sa grind. I never did this. I got Survival XP by using them to heal all the time and naturally made it up the four boxes.

Wire mesh traps + picket or picket plains walker + lot of time = win

Only pain is crafting the bajillion traps I wish I knew where to buy them in bulk on bloodfin.

Just make a schematic for glow juice traps and do a factory run of a bunch of crates.

GLow Juice traps stillget you xp no matter how many times thrown at same target.

I got crates of wire mesh traps out of myfactory and i did all 4 levels on 4 creatures. First all i did was get novice medic to use stim b. Then you get a good set of ubese armor with high kinetic resist. Then i go to Dantooine and find a higher level ( ie grassland, horned) voritor, not the regular ones. I drank 2 brandy so i could keep up the healing, and just started tossing traps at it until i mastered the level. Grassland voritors give 674 per trap, whereas horned voritors give 858 per trap. I recommend grassland as they do not poison and the traps seemed to work better on them. All in all I think it took me 35-40 minutes to master trapping in ranger. because there was a ranger trainer in the player city near to where i was hunting.
