Yes, I madeone crate of Lok and several crates of Tat. camo kits in a guild members factory. I was getting a maximum of 25 per crate.

If you have the /conceal command, all you need is the correct camo kit in your inventory.
Traps, one level lower then you can make itallows you to use it. Same for camps, except you need novice scout for the basic kit still (ya know: they should have allowed that instead of letting you pull things out anywhere).

Been a while, but yes, you can make cammo by the crate, just craft your schematic (Can you still experiment on these?) and pop it in an Equipment factory. All crates will come in 25 kits, number of uses per kit varies on your experimentation on the schematic.
Can also do this for traps, and camps.
As for applying it to others, yes, if you have the conceal skill, and the proper kit for whatever planet you are on, smear that commo on your friends, and listen to their mocking as it breaks 400m out from the outpost. heh

Camo kits can still be experimented on. I made a schematic for 11-use (max experimentation.. I always end up with about 2-3 experimentation points left over) Dathomir kits, and ran a small factory run for four crates (Rancors will supply all of your needs for Dath camo kits...) for a total of 100 kits, 1100 uses.
Prob'm is, experimentation is currently a joke with camo kits. You can have the crappiest materials ever, and still invariably wind up with experimentation points left over after you've maxed the amount on the product. I wouldn't mind if there was another stat capable of experimentation for these, just so I can blow those extra points..
