Hi all,

I'm starting on Novice Ranger today. Are there any guides available for this profession? Any links to previous posts that would be useful? Even any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The ranger FAQ at the top is really good place to get some basic questions answered.It answered a bunch for me when I started. I would also recommend reading the outdoorsman thread for what rangers are looking for in the future so that you can get a feel for the current status of the profession and where it is going.Welcome to club. /gives secret ranger handshake

I recomend going to Dathomir outpost. Join an enraged rancor group. Throw 1 of every kind of trap you can make at each rancor while the rest of the group attacks. Then make sure to harvest every rancor that hits the ground. You should get trapping mastered in a couple of hours and get a good bit of tracking or wayfaring done as well.
