Thread: Rori: The most uselss planet ever?

So I was bord last night, and only had about an hour to kill before bed. I got a cheap buff, and decided to go to a planet I've never been to, and see what's up. Rori was my poor decision. On that whole planet, I got 3 poi badges, and killed a few imps. I saw NOT ONE creature higher than a blue con, and there was nothing to fight in the 3 caves I went into.
The question is, what the Hell is the point of that planet??? Did I miss someone I should go back for? Is there a good fight hiding in the corner, or something?
Someone please enlighten me

Rori is a great place to live but nothing challenging. I think they should make it an adventure planet 
Rori stayed deserted for a reason, because of the vicious beasts that inhabbit it. That would make it worthwhile then, like a hunting planet. Before they do that though, make the whole planet unbuildable to prevent lag

yea i have found that rori is fairly useless, a few weeks back we got the call that the good avian meat drop was on Rori (i deal in meat and hide) i had my self (swordsman stacker, with a harvester droid) a doc/cm (with a droid also) and a master ranger and we covered the entire planet and and got a total of a lil over 2k meat, that is just sad. I have found Rori to be a waist of time, cept for there is one good town that i go to there to go to this one shop, but its such a pain in the a$$

Our city, Hunter's Hollow is there, just a tad NW of (0,0).

Right, there wererecent Herb and Avian spawns on Radiant, and there was nothing worth hunting to GET them ... I tried it as a change, and found out the hard way, I think I ended up with 2k avian.

I don't know where you guys are going, but my screen shakes pretty constantly on Rori...big ol' Tortons. I get aggro'd by at least 2 on the run from my guildhall to my city (Hunters Hollow, with Fred). Problem is there are less players there, so you have to work to get the servers to spawn stuff (like putting cities there) and try walking instead of driving...I swear, it helps with the spawn rates.

Never really minded hunting Rori myself, even though I hate the rain. Take some missions in one direction, wander around a bit to get the spawns cooking and you've got a great hunt going.
Same thing with Talus.

I actually like Talus. But what i use Rori for, outside of lots of tortun soup, isa place to hide where no one is at

Rori, as many have said, is a great place to live....I started there and have lived there since (city was outside of Rebel outpost). About the only thing worth hunting for resources is probably wooly hide, but otherwise its a great place to hang out away from people
I did notice the other night that spawns are down significantly though....

Levisquals. Anyone that was an early commando can tell you about these things, well almost anyone I think I personally only killed 50 then went back to killing War Grondas. Think of Durnis on steroids but stuck in tar pits and you'll be in the right area.
Rori and Talus are good places to vacation though. Nothing too serious, can't ever remember a crowd on either, and just enough out of the way to provide that secluded feeling yet still have facilities close at hand. Plus each has really big turtles, and killing turtles is fun I don't care who you are.

Talus is the bomb, least on my server.
I can hunt all freaking day and not see another live soul. I just did a 6 k run, killing and harvesting just cause I could, and encountered no other people. Plenty of NPCs to take out. Torturs galore too, big xp. I can honestly say there is only one place on the entire planet I would not want to solo, and that's theSif bunker. Besides the loot sucks.
Enough challenges to keep you busy, not a ton of reds to make you insane.
I also live there. Seems most people live there and commute to work - or something.No lag, quiet. Good hunting.
