Just read the new update on the profession the minority plays, but is oddly prioritized every time there is some kind of change.
I speak naturally of the JEDI.
The most recent update is some sort of "fix" to visibility.
Now, I've read a little about these antarian rangers, whom I understand it served somewhat under the jedi.
So how about all the little jedikiddies could wave their flashsticks around and master ranger would not raise an eyebrow at it, least of all notify "the man" about it and alert the BH menace? making MR ideal for partying with to enhance their chance of dodging the manhunters. Perhaps let camo hide them from those accursed little droids or whatever those waste of good flesh use for tracking their jedi prey.
Not suggesting this because I feel we need it specifically, but if there is any fix we could get it would HAVE to be linked to the ############### ## ####### ####### jedi! So, once the devs are reminded there is such a thing as a ranger profession maybe they will give us some sugar after?

Hahaha, thats funny. Honestly, I would probably drop master ranger just so the jedi would get visibility. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
Anyone every play the new DnD 3.5 Ed? Man my wife made a ranger in our campaign, and I'll tell you, she is awesome. She outdamages the monk and barbarian with damage using a bow. 5 arrows a round, with a magic bow etc etc etc. It's insane, and then she gets nifty things like tracking that works, animal companions, resistance to the outdoor elements.

Well, that only works if you're a ranger that wants to help Jedi. I am an imperial, I portray the mercenary ranger, and unless the Jedi want to pay me, they can rot for all I care.

As long as those that only see the Jedi use their skills are friendly fanctioned (and possibly grouped) players or npcs, then they dont increase their visability anyway.

One small problem is also that many rangers actively hunt jedi.
It would be interesting if there could be some sort of camo that a ranger could choose to apply to a PC Jedi to make them harder to track though. In Rustic environements Ranger camo could hide Jedi from BH droids perhaps.
That could be a neat little enhancement that would allow Antarian Rangers, which many rangers seem to participate in, a more active role.

All I can say is that there are Jedis I rat out in a hot minute and other Jedi I help protect.
One clown on my server has all but admitted to buying his Jedi for $3000 and then paying the former owner to level the Jedi for him. Did an entire post on how this was a "business decision". More money thatn brain cells. I see him with his lightstick, I call in the hordes. And it takes hordes to take him on, and more than likely he runs away doing the screaming schoolgirl deal.

Nice ideas but does anyone know what the imperial sector rangers would do if they saw a jedi?
Would they report it or help?

Role-playing an Imperial Sector Ranger ( <I-S-R> on Eclipse) I would have to say I'd report it, then follow the bastige until someone that could actually fight them came along too help. In lore I can't say exactly what they'd do, there really isn't a whole lot about them so a lot is up to speculation/imagination I guess.
