The higher quality the more amount of uses pr sets crafted. As for detection it dosent matter.

Was afraid of that. Is it just me or can EVERY NPC on Tatooine break your camo lately? Seems whenever I use it, all NPC's can break it but it still works against creatures. Well, that is until I walk too close to a Krayt.

Masking will break the their stalk, but when i go prone, and sneak up to 64m of Juvys, it's nearly an instant agro if i have masked my scent. but without mask scent, i could lay there all day at 64-60m away from them.

It is unreal how fast a kreetle will break camo. It's just--unreal.
And official word is that no, the only thing high quality ingredients affect is how many uses per kit. I will swear that the Dath kits I made from all really HQ materials don't break as often, but it's probably just superstition.
That's also my best kit ever, a 19-use Dath Kit that I turned into a schematic. Unfortunately, I ran out of bone.

Heh, and here I was thinking that it can't be that kreetles always break my camo no matter what. I can ride a bike around endor, not even the raptor will break it, but a kreetle on Tat will see me in seconds, annoying little creatures they are.

The kreetle is specialized in removing the kamo. It's the business of this creature
NPC don't remove it but they shot at you the same. This is also with maskscent.
If u use the best resources crafting kamo kits you can get up to 15 charges that's a lot.
The kamo is better than the maskscent only on some planets. Dathomir for example, also on Yavin4.The kamo kit is amazing here. On Lok I was used to /maskscent because the kamo was breaking too much.

I agree, it's probably just superstition, but I prefer to put higher quality into my kits. just in case. lol

slightly OT here, but how much would you sell camo kits for? i made two crates of Endorian camo, 15use kits, and i'm wondering what to sell for. I dont' want to gouge the wallets of fellow rangers, but i would like a lil'cash for'em.
