Well, I live on Lok, and i've found that Snorbals love to hang around water (or Mountain Dew).

I usually find them along the banks of rivers and lakes.

Just head a bit West and North of the starport, and you're bound to stumble on a bunch within, oh, maybe 1000m or so. I never have a problem finding them on Lok.

Oreet's right, they seem to be around the water (? acid?) a lot too.

And don't forget 2 things:

1 - Once you kill a Snorbal, wait around, as more should spawn

2 - Harvest his hide, as Lokian Leathery Hide seems to shift in alot (at least on Lowca).

Hopefully your not on Bria. Lok is one of the new "cool grinding places" on Bria (Gurks, I guess), and there are quite a few cities. Causes so much lag (and apparently more people and houses means less creatures), I can drive from one end of the planet to the other and see absolutely no wildlife whatsoever except for people's missions.

Bria - Electro (N) ~ Shadowfire - Hydrolus (R) ~ Sunrunner - Zaxu Trizki (I) ~ Ahazi - Xonoryt (R) ~ Gorath - Geitizo Nimoirist (I) ~ Radiant - Tygran Virfais (N)

There are a lot of Snorbals around Kimo town on Scylla. Give that a shot.

I've always loved lok. It used to be a real hot spot on Lowca for PvP'ing in player cities, but most of that has since shifted to Tatooine and Dantooine.

My player city i founded on Lok will be 1 year old in early July, so we've got to start planning our Anniversary Celebration (which will be marked by the building of our Shuttleport.

but personally i've always loved hunting and living on lok. lots of neat creatures to go see. Gurks, Snorbals, Kimos, Perleks are all great lookin' creatures. So are the snakes and kusaks. plus i sort of role-play a bit about how i HATE nym, and his monopoly on Lokian travel. I also help bolster the Lokian economy by creating jobs. i kill off Nym's pirates and guards, and he then has to hire new ones.

And the #1 reason to visit Lok...

I think the snorbel population increases the further south on the planet you go. I have helped a number of folks go out and find these.

After you land at Nym's just pull up the shuttle map and jettison to the player city as far south as possible on your server. Then head out 1K m and start searching. It never takes more than 5-10 min on our server.

Head South young man, head south!!
