Anyone know of a good source of avian meat on Corellia? I know spats and rasps and such have the meat.....but I'm looking for something with a fairly large yield of units per harvest. No to mention I can't find missions for spats and/or rasps to save my life. Anyone have any suggestions?

Best you are going to find are Devil Gulingaws and Giant Carrion Spats.
It would be nice if the good resources would spawn on the advanced planets more often, these 10-20 dl creatures get pretty boring for large resource orders.

Regular spat missions are in the 10-12 range. Giant spat and gulginaw missions are in the 20-25 range.
Natural gulginaw spawns seem to be quite plentiful in the mountains between the Agrliat and Kor Vella. Lots of giant spats on the way from Kor Vella to the rebel base. I've seen a lot of giant spats in the Agrilat as well, which is of course rasp central!

Right now the best avian starsider has ever seen is on lok, which means flits and perleks yay! Always use swgcreatures.com when tackling a certain resource on a certain planet. We're also getting a Rangers Information Network (chat room) on starsider where everyone can report new shifts or help answer questions.
Veghash isn't really all that impressive, but I would suggest getting some. I made friends with a chef who sells it for 20k a crate, or much less if I provide him a 1k stack or two of a nice organic he needs.
Plus if you have a lot of BE friends chefs love the new nanonutrients or tissues or whatever which means even lower prices.

There's a very nice avian meat spawn on Corellia right now on the Chilastra server, I have a3-1-4-2 ranger CL56 and just can't get any avian meat missions. I've tried tracking and not found anything just the odd howling rasp near coronet. Been to most of the player cities looking for a mission to no avail. Anyone got any tips on a good place to hunt spats, gulginaws or rasps?
While we're at it how about a ranger tab on the mission terminal. Creature only missions and the full range of cratures availabe at a level that will allow xp to be gained. As it stands if you are too high a level you have very little choice on what creaturesyou are offered. There ought to be some benefit to being a ranger apart from the high harvest levels. Maybe even a specific ranger mission terminal like the bounty hunters get!
I'm not new to ranger, I mastered on a couple of my accounts pre-cu and it was the same then. To get Rori avian I had to get the missions with my crafter then group with him and put him on follow until the mission updated. Not a great way to hunt. I've travelled all over Corellia this weekend without much luck tracking birds, so hows about it devs?

Head up to the north edge of the map, lots of big avians up there in the hills.

another place that you might try are the mountains between kor vella and the rebel outpost. Greater Gulginaws spawn there and pre CU they would drop 50 units or more each. There are also tons of Carrion Spat spawns in the area as well.

That "Ranger Tab" sounds like a great idea. Certain animals aren't available on mission terminals (snorbals, for instance), but if Rangers--or Master Rangers--could access them, it might be a helpful service.
