Thread: Best creature / place to milk

Tried doing a search but kept giving me errors.

Any advice as to where and what to milk? My customer says quality does not matter. He just needs lots of it. About 100K.

I was on tatooine getting bantha missions, level 80 seem to give about 220 milk per critter. But when I attack them to get the next spawn, they group agro. I can take 1 easy, 2 is very rough ( I lose alot), 3 or more and I am incapped.

I am level 80 myself, and I can usually get a few folks to join (more mobs per mission ) me for the fun =P.

Any advice?

If you're CL80 and can group up with a bunch of mates, picket plainswalkers, or whatever the big bolle bol looking things with the spiky mohican hairdo on Dant are called, used to be good.

I want to say thunes as well, but less sure. My favourites were faamba tho, just 'because'.

Bantha's are nice because they don't typically run all over the place.

Why kill them to get a respawn? If you go out by the krayt graveyard you can normally find 3 or 4 large spawns of them within a 500 m radius. Wp each spawn and start milking at one. Finish up , move to the next. Just work your way around and then back to the first one.....hopefully milk will be back by then and you can milk the same ones over again. Sort of like a bantha milking farm.

Alternatively, if you can only find one spawn and need to kill them, or if your pulling them as missions and want to kill them for the cash, then when you need to aggro them have a couple of F keys of p-dart traps ready. Make sure your auto attack is turned off. P-dart each bantha you plan to kill and snare them in place. Then move off at range and start taking out one after the other. If any break the snare then re-trap them. This will give you time to work each one individually. I find if you have auto-attack on and they aggro you....and you shoot them even once, they are more likely to break snare and attack at some point. Having them aggro you, but only get trapped, seems to keep them somewhat "peaceful" and not upset that you snared them. They just stand around and wait for you to kill them.

Hope that helps. As a chef I can tell you milk is VERY tough to get. I hope your getting minimum of 30 cpu for your time/effort and more like 50 cpu if the stats are decent at all. Your guy is most likely looking for milk to make one of the chef subs...which don't require stats. But I assure you if you happen to bring him milk with good stats on it he will put it aside and use it in foods that need milk and require stats.

Good luck.

I find that Thune aggro to much for my taste if my camo or mask scent brakes. Also, you cant milk the Thune mothers.

If you want quantity and not quality, Humbaba on Talus are in abundance near the Imperial Outpost. You can pull missions and hit the random lairs on your way to the mission.

Lok has the ugly one horned mule things that are good for that as well. Gurnesek maybe???
