Thread: First to the Bane Back!

Took my friendly neighborhood Smuggler out to Dathomir this morning, picked up an Axkva Badge, and then went looking for Kiin Dray. No Kiin in the spider cave, so we went looking for the Bane Back Spider. AreaTrack actually worked for me, for once, and I found it first.
I feel like a Ranger.

Well, we need more details than that.
What was it's CL? What type of trophy was it? Was it a mounted head like the RoTW trophies, or was it some other trophy?

Looks like:
It's new art. Kinda resembles the gaping spider but it has ridges across it's back that look like one of the marauder helmets. It's mostly black with green markings. The trophy is half of the shell of it, sitting flat looks like, I haven't dropped it in a house yet. Doesn't look like it will wall mount very well.

Got lucky really, found 3 of them 50 meters from the Sider cave entrance.

He was CL 80, elite mob, walk in the park for a Smuggler, Defender and myself. Should be easy with a few phecnacine darts for a solo ranger.

Got all 3.
I am really disappointed in the trophies. They are not like the Kashyyyk trophies that are made for wall display but more like earlier trophies that look best on the floor or on a table.

As long as they keep churning out these hunting rewards ill be happy. I dont want them all to be wall mounted too hehe, i want something to place in displays etc.

I think its a HUGE mistake putting these creatures in static locations. Once you and everyone knows the location it becomes less interesting all you have to do is stand there and farm it. If it was random locations it would be much more rewarding to find one.

I've also found the Bane Back, they spawn in groups of 3 on Chilastra, I dunno if it varies but it seems that everyone it speaking of it as a singular spawn. /shrug
Where are the other two new critters though? One is somewhere on Talus right?

Whats even funnier is that guys are trying to sell them on the trade forums for millions. lol
