If the camp never disbands, and someone ganks your control panel, how can you ever disband it?

I dont know if it is true with the HT Field Base as it is with the Reg. Field Base, but after my Control Panel got ripped off the first time, I made the habit of picking it up as soon as I set up camp.

This happened to a fellow ranger on Chilastra south of Coronet yesterday... he logged off for 30 mins and it still would not despawn. It stayed there until the server was rebooted.

I hope they can fix the bug with non-owners picking up the controller, without nerfing the persistence of the top camp.I like the idea of the camp staying open while I've got to run back to town, fight off some vermin,or something else.

I also hope that they do let the camp stay up for a few minutes of logoff time in case you get bumped off the server temporarily.

I LOVE the fact my camp will stay around untill a server boot...but I do not like the fact items can be picked up.

Actually now I pick up ALL my chairs and my PDA so that no one else does. /sigh

I was suprised when I first picked up a chair in my camp. but I couldn't figure out how to put the chair back down. I tried to place it but it didn't seem to work.. is there a drop command I'm missing?

When you pickup the control panel can you still access it?

And my biggest question is.. How the heck do you manage to create a control panel with a few hides and bones that you pull off of Song Rasp?

Not supposed to be able to pick em up, so you cannot drop em.

While on the subject on camps, can anyone tell me the resources required for the ranger bases? I can't find any website thats lists them.

Yep, you can pick up the control panel and disband it from anywhere. I plan to do this in the future. Despite my initial concerns, I am still able to set up new camps regardless of the one that is stuck outside Coronet, heh. As for the resources, the High Tech Field Base is 55 Metal, 35 Polymer. Regular Field Base is 35 Metal, 30 Polymer.

HTFB's only stay up till you disconnect if you dont disband.
