I may be wrong so take it for what it is worth.
I think ferocity is a way to see if the creature will (or likely) assist each other if one of them is attacked.
Zero being that the creatures do not assist each other.

Why, for the last 3 or 4 days has everything been conning with a ferocity level of 0?

I finally conned something that wasn't zero either. A wrix. Had a 4. They are definately adjusting/changing something, because it wasn't like this a few days ago.
Last night everything I conned on Yavin 4 was ferocity zero, from mamians to chrystal snakes.

Everything I examine the last few days has a ferocity level of zero. Everything. Aggressives, non-aggressives, big things, small things, beginner planet mobs, adv planet mobs.
My pet still shows his ferocity correctly but all mobs are conning zero ferocity. Has anybody else has this problem? Is it a bug?

I like it when something that is:
Killer: 0
deathblows you ... I got deathblown by a Vynocok on Corellia! My personal bonus to creature knowledge is now, whatever it says, it may kill you ... even if it is a butterfly.
