Just thought I’d share a tale with you of a bountiful plenty that I enjoyed last night.

Naboo, somewhere East of Theed, about 5.5k away I think. Just having a look about, you know, a bit of exploring. I came across a large Imperial base, and I mean large, I counted over 30 Stormtroopers and 4 AT-ST’s.

There weren’t really doing anything, just hanging about. I’m an Imp, but was covert at this time.

Whilst standing there admiring the scene, it was very Star Warsy after all, I received some agro from a Capper Spineflap and to my amazement nearly all the Imperial Troops and the AT-ST’s attacked with no mercy.

Now I’ve had one or two chaps pitch in before but never have I seen this many open up, it was great, they did the whole lair, in seconds. I popped pistol shots into the lair and they massacred whatever came out with any agro on me.

So, I wondered what other mobs were about that I could draw into the kill zone that perhaps I wouldn’t normally be able to get on my own, /area track to the rescue.

325m away a herd, 5 of the beauties, of Famba’s. Oh yes…….

A quick pistol bleed on the closest one and they all agro and commence bearing down on me, I retreat towards my buddies making sure that I land at least one shot on each of the targets before returning to fire on the first. My own Imperial Army opens up, dead Famba’s in no time at all. It was a beautiful thing to watch indeed.

I harvest each of them, no group, no pets, no sharing whatsoever. It’s all mine, mine I say…..

It respawns, I repeat.

I did this repeatedly for nearly two hours.

Meat any one…? I have a fair bit of the stuff……..

**edit**, I love being a Ranger…..

Funny you should post this....

Just last nite I got a mission that moved twice and ended up being 100 m away from our established rebel base.

Doing the mission only for hides and the creds, I aggro'd all 3 torturs and ran to the base. The troopers there shot and killed the torturs, I harvested... this is easy.

Did it a second, then the third time... when in wanders a new person, who helps the troops kill the last two bulls, and is so very happy at his xp. I am harvesting as he asks "where did they come from?". Being my usual helpful self, I replied "Mommy torturs".

I was nice and took him out a little later on for an XP hunt.

Corsec also helps me, as do the Belladonna League (probably the only 2 factions I have postive faction with anymore).

Oncein a while, help is nice

I enjoyed it so much, and it was so productive in terms of the resources harvest, that whereas I used to breeze pastImperial Mobs on my bike (last night I was on foot) I will stop and see what's about to see if I can get more of the same action.

One thing I did notice last night was that when I started my little battlethe Beasts and the Imp troops were seperated by just over 300m. Towards the end, after several spawns, the Imps had moved forward almost to the spawn point.

I'm wondering how far away from "home" these guys will go, and could I possibly "daisy-chain" them from one lair to another to get them to be where I want them to be..?

Did I mention that some of the troops were using rocket launchers (I think thats what they were) by the way. It was a very cool evening all in all.

I used to get XP as a Novice Rifleman on Endor this way, drawing my prey into Ewok camps.. Very effective tactic. I've also, once, had a random rebel spawn destroy most of an ST camp that I'd drawn as a mission before I'd even got there.

As for rasps.. The only thing that keeps me from killing them faster is the amount of time it takes to switch between targets.. and sometimes I miss at 60m, charging forward with my spraystick. My hatred isn't as strong as JBs, but I rarely bypass a chance to destroy them in flocks.
