I'm new to the whole ranger thing and i really like it alot... however i busted my hump to get up to tracking III so i can get bigger harvests as i attempt to run around and get some wooly hides and what not... however my yields are that of a master scout
is tracking III broke? does it correct itself at tracking IV? i shouldn't be getting 40 bone from a fambaa at III when i was getting 108 at II

1. depends on the health of the animal. "Medium" gives less than "fat and healthy"
2. Are you grouped? maybe with a pet? grouping lowers harvests and even grouping a single pet will rob you.

nope it's just me running around... i was killing fambaas and the yield on the harvest was less than half of what it was with tracking II... i'm really disappointed with this

I can't explain that.
I did see a bug once where I was grouped and then my hunting partners left and my harvest stayed at the group level.
Of course its highly possible that anything in this game is broken... heh. I guess if its consistently lower and then you get to Tracking IV and it goes back way up, then that answers that.
