Thread: Ranger trapping xp

I just got novice ranger and am wondering what i should use to lvl in trapping. I used wire meshes all the way to trapping 4 in scout. The highest i can use not is the adhesive. I never used it though so i dont know how good it is. Anyone have any advice on what traps i should use and maybe what animals i should throw them at?

That's odd, I almost never land a trap on Rancor's. I do every now an then, but it's to the point where i don't bother trapping them. However everything else on dathomir is great. And of course the few time's I have landed on Rancor's is awesome too.

ad for traps, spamming Wire Mesh, Glow Juice, or Glow Wires works...since you can use as many as you want on the same creature... As for what, based on my experience hunting on Dathomir, these provided the best overall XP based on how many times I can land on them...
When working on Trapping 1, Rancors, landed almost all the time, around787xp each trap...
When working on Trapping 2, Bull Rancors, around 1100 XP
At trapping 2 you can then land reliably on Enraged Rancors, for just over 1500 xp each trap, making Trapping 3 and 4 pretty **edit** easy.
The entire tree is easy when your throwing at the right things.
