Thread: New Ranger / Rifleman Points left over

I'm working on Ranger / Rifleman at the moment, and am wondering if anyone has any ideas what I should do with my leftover points.
I may actually drop rifleman down and work on Squad Leader (say what!?), not sure yet.

If you master both.. you will have like 18 left, which leaves enough for Novice Medic and one box. I suggest that.

Ranged support in marksman isn't bad... some nice bonuses to aiming and such.

I did the same thing. Master a weapon (Bladesman) and Ranger and get Novice Medic. If you master Squad leader and keep Ranger, you won't have any weapon mastery

Thats what im doing with Fencer. Working on Master Fencer/master Ranger/Novice medic

Yep, spend the extra points on Novice Medic. It allows you to use stim b's and wound b's.

Down time is wasted time - MEDIC all the way- face it your going to get banged up alot.

Why not dabble in CH with the left over points....as a sniper you shouldn't (in theory) get aggro'd that often, but if /when you do, you could send in your CL 20ish pet in to delay the mob until you hop on your bike and run...at least that's my plan as of now..

Once I reach Rifleman/Ranger I will use those extra points for Artisan so as I can extract a few resources here and there. Useful when I need polymer or steel. Presently its a pretty good gig since alot of hologrinders will buy anything regardless of the OC just so they can get their pts out. Still tho, when I do happen across a good quality product I will sell it for a good amount on the bazaar. Keeps a minimal amoutn of cash rolling in without too much effort. Since we all know Ranger isnt the greatest money making Prof out there.

Personally, I am working on:
Master Ranger
Marksman 4-0-0-0 (currently 4-0-0-4)
Rifleman 3-0-0-0 (currently 3-0-0-1)
Master Creature Handler (currently 1-2-1-2)
even at the current levels the combonation is working well for me.

Acutally I myself make around 100 to 200k every couple day, but at this moment sence im going through the frontiering tree im not making squat sence I need all my resources to make camps so that I may grind through as quickly as possable. I cant wait till the devs fix us this is the only profession set im planning on sticking with sence its so dam fun to be a ranger.

imho one CH tree fits the idea of a Ranger in the wild and allows you to buy a CL19 pet/mount. Send in the pet, collect aggro to one spot, SS2, wave done. Those bat-lizards on Dath run if they see me (causing run-an-gun to ensue at the fleeing critters)but stay put when I send my pet. After all, you got all that pre-req. for CH, might as well do something with it.
For the record, I do not miss the ranged support tree. I set my pet on guard in a group and Simba is far more effective at pounding critters and getting them off my back then trying to spam Warning shot to get it to take. That tumbling crap is useless (except for allowing meds to grind faster).
