Milk is a very high commodity now with the new revamped chef line and BE line too for BE enhanced clothing. However, Chefs are the biggest users.
I am one box away from Master Ranger and I am currently pulling about 110 per milking on pikets. I am harvesting pretty good stuff.
My question is the following:
Obviously, this is a tedious job. It can take my entire evening. I am sorry....there is no way that i can settle for letting this go at 10 cpu. 15 - 20 cpu sounds more reasonable. What do you all think??

40-50 sounds reasonable, considering I was getting 1000 for looted milk.
Rangers traditionally get hosed on prices, so raise yours. If you can get 30, do it. How many people are gonna want to milk creatures? It's slow, boring, and not much fun.

I was thinking around this price too but didn't want to be greedy. I just heard this morning from a friend that some chefs are selling their stuff for for 250k per crate.

I don't sell milk...I trade it, so I can't help you on price. As far as chef prices, keep in mind they have costs other than milk. I suspect a large portion of their costs come from BE products (I am assuming that a crate of food that costs so much has BE enhancements).

Speaking of milking various beasts, I noticed on a site that on Dantooine you can milk a hostile thune mother. Is this before or after it tries to kill you? lol.

As a self proclaimed Muon addict (haven't got my hands on the Brandy yet) I've started milking on my downers. Makes it a little less tedious.

Any Master scouts milk a piket yet??
If so, what is your yield? Any different??

I've been selling milk for 30 cpu and it usually sells fairly quickly, within a few hours of posting it. Mostly harvested from Sharnaffs which yield between 70 and 100 units but also from bagarest which yield about 30. definitly make better money this way as hide/bone don;t sell too well. i thought about upping the price to 40 but don;t want to get too greedy. I also limit how much milk i put up at the bazaar to make it seem a more scarce resource usually no more than 1K in 100 unit lots. it goes pretty fast. now i can afford to buy that shiny new scooter.

I presume you have helped out the cause and added that list to www.swgcreatures.com?

I put an auction up on the starsider trade for 2.5k naboo wild milk, while the stats aren't great milk stats aren't important in some chef components like bantha butter.
It was my mistake for starting the auction at 5cpu I guess. While my intentions were to start out fair (unlike the 1mil .. 18mil 2362136 billion opening bids on most crap) I assume it was taken as "hey this guy is an idiot, lets see how low we can get this for." Needless to say the top bid ended up being 17cpu.
2 hours of my life standing on top of my R2 to try and reach fambaa teets for 17cpu. I'll stay fair on all of my organics except milk and eggs. I'm starting auctions for them at like 20-30cpu minimum from now on.

Last night I put 117 units ofnaboo milk on the bazaar for 6k and it sold in 15 minutes.
I think selling it for 50cpu is not unreasonable. I am going to test the waters and see how high the market will handle.

Actually, that looks like the list right off of Allakhazam.
