I am basically clueless on how to use tracking to effectively track creatures. I try /areatrack but I cant get a wp to the creature. What can I do to get the most out of my skills?

Bounty hunter, since the days we had to master marksmen and scout and investigation three missions where worth 129 investigation exp and the mark was never there. Plus there were no mounts or bikes, we walked damnit! And we liked it (well, not really, barely made enough money to cover shuttle costs and keep the equipment in good order)

To further clarify, if you hadn't noticed the little radar in the bottom left, it has a big blue triangle that points North.

Use the cardinal directions from there to find your way to the animals.. if they haven't already spawned away.

No waypoints. Waypoints are for Bounty Hunters and others too stupid to read a compass.

Best way, go in the direction it says about 100 m less than it says. Do /ar again. Check results. Go from there.

Funny, I used to be a bounty hunter. That explains why I can't read a compass.

Another helpful hint, after you do your area track, drop a WP where your standing, head the direction your track told you. Helps you figure out the distance a lil better.

Edited because I am stoopid and thought I was on Tempest boards...
