I got inspired to write a story based off of my Ranger character and I figured that here people would appreciate it, considering we all have the same mentality.
(The following is a partly fictional, partly true story of a ranger)
I was sitting in the cantina in Theed recovering my wits after a particularly grueling week of hunting on Naboo. A half-empty glass a Jawa beer sat on the table in front of me. "The cantina here is more upscale than others I've been in," I thought as I contemplated my glass, "but you'd think they would wash the dishes once in a while." As an outdoorsman, I tended to avoid large groups of people by sitting in the back of the cantina. I also didn't want to attract too much attention, so I was dressed in a nice shirt, my pants with the Corellian bloodstripes, and my pilot's jacket. I even managed to shave my heavy stubble down to a neat goatee. My reverie was broken when I overheard two people talking about a "rogue fambaa." I could tell they had just walked off the shuttle and been trained by the local scout trainer because they were repeating all those stories he likes to tell. After they mentioned wherehe was located (north of the cliffs of Theed), I stood up, threw some credits down on the table to cover my bill, told the bartender to tip the band for me, and headed out the door. I remote started my speederbike, hopped on, and rocketed west out of town. As it was getting late, I decided to set up camp about two kilometers away from town and start the hunt in the morning.
The next morning, the sun found me already up and getting ready for the hunt. I pulled on my field clothes, the kind that only get washed if you happen to be wearing them as you swim across a river. Then, I armed myself. My scout blaster went into my right ankle hoster, my DX2 pistol into my shoulder holster, my FWG5 pistol I hung on my right hip, and my old master's sword I put in the left side of my spec-ops duster (where I can carry it concealed). I then set off for the hunting grounds. When I got to the edge of the cliffs, I pulled some rope out of my pack and rapelled down the cliff face. After I reached the bottom, I started heading north, occasionally examining tracks in the ground. Half of the day went by without luck. I was almost about to call it quits when I heard a distinctive bellow echo across the plain. Heading in the direction it came from, I pulled my sword out and prepared myself for battle. As I got closer, I saw it's tracks in the ground and so I started following them. Eventually, the creature came into sight. As I spied it, I sighed exasperatedly. "Those kids can't tell a male fambaa from a female one?" That's right, "he" was actually a "she". Still, she was half again as big as the average fambaa. I decided that she was too big for me to take on with my sword, so I started reaching for my FWG5. With my hand halfway there, I realized that fambaas don't mind heat, but they don't like acid at all, so instead I grabbed my DX2 from it's backwards facing shoulder holster. I made sure I was upwind from the creature and that I was wearing animal musk (I knew that I didn't need an camoflague because fambaas can smell much better than they can see). I laid down and took careful aim. My DX2 bucked in my hand as I fired my first shot. YES, I saw I had made a blood-seeping wound on the creature's side. She looked around, trying to figure out where she was being attacked from. I took the opportunity to lay several more hard blasts on her. Then I saw her head lock onto my position. I jumped up and started running, since I knew if she got into range I'd be dead. I continued to fire over my shoulder, but some shots were going wild. Finally, I decided to stop, turn around, and aim carefully. She was bearing down on me, getting ready to trample me into the earth, when I let loose with a shot that hit her right between the eyes. Her front legs collapsed and she tumbled to the ground no more than a few meters in front of me.
I pulled my sword out to finish her off and to start harvesting her hide. As I worked, I noticed that my shot to her head hadn't destroyed all of her heavy armor. I managed to collect enough to make an armorsmith very pleased. As I packed the spoils of my battle into my pack, I decided to stay out and enjoy the wilderness for the night. Those young kids could wait a few days to learn that their frightful rogue fambaa wouldn't be bothering them any more.

Ah, refreshing! Very well told. If I wore a cap, I would take it off to you. Thank you for the story and keep them coming!
