Saw this in another thread and didn't want to hijack. The easiest way to make a colorful sig is using the graphical editor. Start a post, type in the sig you want to use, edit as HTML, and then copy the HTML code into the signature box in your profile. It should work that way. As an example, this should show the HTML for my sig (I hope it doesn't automatically convert it):

Lythender Nirou
Master Ranger / Master Squad Leader
Colonel of the Rebel Alliance
Eclipse Server

I did throw in a bit of manual editing but it wasn't really needed.

Do enjoy it. Play around with it in the graphical editor (changing stuff like colors and such) and see what you come up with.

Well when we had pics it was nuts there are still a few people left with modems. And they couldnt handle it

Big colorful sigs... argh...

It could be worse I suppose. I would probably go nuts if they'd suddenly let us have pics in our signature.
