Thread: Any Kettemoor Rangers here, or a Kettemoor Ranger guild?

I posted on the Kettemoor server asking if there were any Ranger guilds to join... unfortunately, the only response so far is from a very nice person who genuinely thought that there weren't any Rangers period on our server anymore...
I've been gone from the game for quite a long time, but have come back with a different take on it. My first thought was to go right back to bounty hunter and finally master it... but then after reading a lot, and having dabbled in Ranger a bit back in the day, I decided that Ranger was really the one thing I liked. My favorite part of the game is the landscape and the creatures. I really don't have much interest in the PvP that goes on... it seems meaningless and at best frustrating.
I read a post on here about 'the day I truly felt like a ranger' and it hit home for me too. Being alone out on some planet, able to survive the wilds and stand among the creatures that live there. Really cool.
So, I guess to make my long winded story a bit shorter, I had plenty of scouting xp to get novice ranger back which I'll be training tonight, and if there are any other Rangers here that call Kettemoor home, please let me know if you're interested in hunting together, or if there are any hunting guilds I can join.
Also, is there some reason that the ranger class is 'broken' that people seem to think it's not worth taking?

Rangers are indeed pretty rare. This is moslty attributed (by me) to the fact that there really isn't much 'meat' to the profession. We do very little that a Scout can't do.

I'm a master Ranger on Kettemoor. I dropped it six times to hologrind, but always came back to it. My other professions may fluxuate, but Ranger is my preferred profession.

I saw 4 Rangers (3 of them Master) sitting at a back table in the Theed cantina the other day. Must have been a convention as that is probably half the kett ranger population in one place

I'm working my way up ranger,and most planets have 1-2 ranger trainers installed in cities, so we gotta be out there.

carefull, ex-Antarian Rangers haven't been welcome in Theed for sometime..if they caught you snooping around it could be bad news for you....I have heard others have found this out the hardway...

Yeah the HUNT guild is prolly the closest thing to a ranger guild on kettemoor... I pretty sure that if your interested in joining,Ejak is the guy to talk to. They are a great bunch of people, with a player city south of Deoba Guerful on Corillia (sp?)
