Just out of pure curiosity, i decided to check my force status, using the /che command. Apparently I am all glowy inside, and that ancient religion that believed in The Force is with me.
But seriously, I did no waypoint grinding, or themepark grinding or anything at the last minute to get it. I've been playing SWG since Febuary of this year, and I never grinded a profession, just mastered the ones that I wanted to play as. and in all of that time, doing what i love to do in the game (explore and experience anything and everything i can come across in the game) i got all glowy.
Then, after seeing i was glowy, i checked my badge listing, just to see where I haven't been yet (so that i could go on a few nice exploring trips) and came to realize that there were only 3 location badges I needed. The Imperial Encampment on Rori, The Dantari Rock Village, and the Deeja Peak Falls.
So I set out to explore.
The Imperial Encampment on Rori
I left my home on lok, and went to theed, then hopped a shuttle to Rori. I have never been to that part of Rori (the SouthWest section). I headed south towards the encampment, and I spotted a few neat looking things. there were these thigns that almost looked like snakes across the ground. upon further inspection, they appear to be tree roots protruding above the ground. I didn't run into a single creature the entire round trip, whcih I felt was very odd, and sort of ominous in a way, as I was wondering what could have scared all of the creatures away from this swampland. I then saw a walled outpost with 2 TIE fighters parked on the roof of the main building of this complex. i thought that was a neat graphical touch ot the outpost. I explored a bit there, but there were no mission givers or anything there. the only 2 imperials i could talk to were 2 recruiters. The trip back to the starport was very uneventful, still no creatures in sight.
The Deeja Peak Waterfalls
I hopped a shuttle to Moenia on Naboo. While in the starport, I ran into a Gungan Hermit looking for some help. He purchased some item from someone in Deeja Peak, and needed someone to get the receipt from the sale and bring it back to him. Wel, i'm always willing to help someone in need, and since i was heading to Deeja Peak anyway, this is an added bonus (plus, any credits he gives me as a reward would offset some of the travel costs). So I set out for Deeja peak on the back of Mickey, my trusty Kaadu. Along the way, we spotted the normal wildlife of Naboo, such as Shaparnts (spelling?), Peko Peko's, and Hermit Spiders (i'd hate to see a spider like that in my house on lok, as my shoes aren't big enough to squish it). Some trade federation loyalists didn't take too kindly to my presence, so i had to defend myself, and Mickey from their attacks. Well, I arrived to where the Gungan told me I could meethis contact, but she was nowhere to be seen. I guess he just takes pleasure is sending people out in wild Kaadu chases (no offense Mickey). So I decide to head to the waterfalls that I have heard so much about. Let me tell you, the view from at the top of these falls is absolutly breathtaking. I could see for kilometers in every direction. There is a small pool after the first walls, which was filled with crystal clear water. Mickey was starting to smell a bit, so i decided to give Mickey a bath down at the base of the falls. so we head down there, and get mickey all cleaned up. Then, back to Moenia we go. Time to have a word with this Gungan. When I get there, he insists that the person is out there waiting for me. So I tell him that I do not want his job anymore, and I will take my leave now. Besides, I've got one more spot to stop at on my sightseeing trip.
The Dantari Rock Village
From Moenia I head to Coronet (I needed to find a doctor to give me some enhancements, as I had two reasons to head to Dantooine). A friend of mine needs Voritor Lizard bone to craft some armor for our furry friends (the wookiees). I figured I could kill two peko pekos with one stone on this trip to Dantooine. I do not miss Coronet at all. All the shouting, the lines, and the fierce Galactic Civil war going on all around me. I long for the forrests of Endor, kilometers from any living person. After getting a doctor to give me some boosts to my abilities, I headed out to Dantooine. On my datapad, I had the location of a Dantari Village that I was told was a beautiful town to see, where no one used the comforts of modern society. This sounded like the perfect spot for a Ranger to go and become in tune with nature. So I set out riding Zanzabar, my trusty Dewback, who has been with me for months now. We stopped to kill any Voritor Lizards we found along the trip, making sure to harvest any usable bones off of these beasts for my friend. When we arrived at the village, I was in utter disgust. Some off-worlders had begun to build factories, houses, and shops right next to this perfect picture of simplistic living. Small equipment factories littered the countryside as far as the eye could see. I tried to shrug that off, and head into th village, hoping that the Dantari hadn't been tainted by modern society. When I entered the village, something seems "off". Something wasn't right. Not a soul could be seen. I hopped off of Zanzabar, and tied him to anearby post. I inspected the simple stone huts throughout the village, and there was not a single living person in this town. It appears that some blood-thirsty murder had come through this village, and wiped every last person from this town, even the women and children. They probably plan on leveling the village to make room for more factories. After seeing all of this, I just couldn't bring myself to kill any more Voritors today. Zanzabar and myself rode off into the sunset to find a quiet place to meditate on the things we've seen today...

Sorry Oreet must explain, I'm from Yorkshire in England and we have a phrase "o'reet" adapted from "all right" which basically means something is good. Sorry if I confused you I seem to have a knack for it.

i kind of had a feeling that the o'reet meant alright, but i just wanted to get that cleared up. thanks ![]()
and as far as having a knack for confusing poeple, it's probably because of all of that driving on the wrong side of the road you British are famous for. ![]()

/yell MORE!! MORE!!
Absolutely brilliant, Oreet. Loved it.
You were lucky that it was only Dant that was spread with industrial units. I went up to Naboo on Bria last week to hunt faamba. Do it on TC, have got a nice technique for pulling the beasties onto some helpful local troops, either Imperial or Alliance, or onto the locl police force and letting their firepower make up for my rather feeble efforts.
Could I find a faamba? Could I 'eck as like. Wall to wall mineral extractors, gas extraction units and factories upon factories. For 3 - 5km out of Theed it was the same in pretty much every direction. Disgusted wasn't the word.
Have even seen factory units on Dathomir. Who in their right mind chooses that asylum for a crafting session!
/shrug.
Just goes to show there's nothing as queer as folk.
