well, I figured I'd give some poor newb Forum Ranger the oportunity to grind. They can take this thread away for a bit, but they can't determine it's ultimate direction. Only a Master Forum Ranger can completely steal this thread from me, so I'm not too worried.

This is how I envision us...any suggestions for a Revamp in the near future?
Novice Forum Ranger
- /hijackthread- gives the option to take over the thread of an outsider. You can change it's course, but you cannot make it go in the direction you want. You are just as suceptible to a hijacking by another Forum Ranger.
Humor
- Humor 1 (Wit)-you can make another Ranger smile
- Humor 2 (Colored Commentary) - you can now make another Ranger laugh aloud and make an outsider smile
- Humor 3 (Humorous Observer)- You can attract the coveted ROFLMAO and also the attention of Calc. Normal Rangers will now spit up coffee at your posts and outsiders will comment on your wit.
- Humor 4 (Stand-up Comic)- The devs themselves will appear every now and then and laugh at your posts. There is also now a random chance they will leave a message. You may now be responsible for the destruction of keyboards due to your coffee-spitting jokes and outsiders will ask you to join their proffession
Spelling
- Spelling 1 (Baby) - offers a defense against dyslexia. Offers new punctuation such as: :' " [ ] | \ - + = & ^ % < > / ?
- Spelling 2 (Todler)- increases the DaD (defense against dyslexia). There is now an increased chance you will use your punctuation correctly.
- Spelling 3 (Student)- you gain the ability to use nouns and verbs correctly. You understand basic grammer and can spell quite well.
- Spelling 4 (G.E.D)- you now have access to increased vocaulary skills. Multisyllabic words are now an option during posting.
Forum Wayfaring
- Wayfaring 1(Attitude Adjustment)- youare now no longer required to whine about how you got nerfed. You can act your age.
- Wayfaring2 (Advanced Hijacking)- you can now take an outsiders thread and change it's purpose completely to suit your own goals.
- Wayfaring 3 (Wilderness Calls)- you can now have the chance of calling a Dev, without the use of the Forum BH skill "whining 4". You can call a dev simply through the use of smart, poignant posts, which are unlocked with this skill.
- Wayfaring4 (Ranger Hijacking) you can now hijack any post of any origin, and turn it against it's user.
Forum tracking
- Tracking 1 (Old posts)- you can now find your original posts and laugh at them
- Tracking 2 (Humorous recall)- you can now find the old posts of others and laugh at how silly they were
- Tracking 3 (idea hunting)- you can now find ideas in your old posts that were good and are still viable
- Tracking 4 (Issue Hunting)- you can now find others' good ideas and bring them back. As well, you unlock the "clicky" option for all of your posts, allowing others to easily follow you back
Master Forum Ranger
- Advanced Attitude Adjustment- offers several attitudes, including Grumpy Old Ranger, Helpful Ranger, and Spitefull ex-Ranger

Okay here we go... this formula is harder than it looks!
Humor 2.5 (I got a coveted ROFL from Calc once, but not quite at spitting level.)
Spelling er... I seem to actually be loosing boxes in this skill at an amazing speed.
Wayfaring 2 is actually rather easy in the Ent forums I found. For kicks I go into random threads and yell "HAWTPANTS" and watch the whole thing derail.
Tracking 3. Thanks to the great bunch of Rangers here there are a bunch of great ideas in my posts... mostly in the "reply" section lol!
Hmmm... what is the best thing to grind on for Humor 3?

Here's my suggestion for grinding humor: Right now there is a great spawn of "opportunities delecti" in the Question for Calc thread.
I'd recomend going over there, finding the picture of Calc with pink eyes. If you can't find anything funny to say about a brown leezard with pink eye...well I just don't think the humor tree is gonna be your strong point.

I think wayfairing 3 is harder to get than wayfairing 4!!
Gonna have to work on those last few boxes! I have been slacking in the humor department a since "The night before revamp", and speaking of clickies! they still dont make in the forum skill? Wonder where that should be, Calc sugested at Master but I think that is a bit too high.
