Thread: We need a list

We all know we can run about the wilds and collect a variety of things but who needs what resources and what stats are of the most importance to it?

If everyone can drop in their imput I would love to start a list of what all crafters need to make wares that we supply. It would help alot of noobs and myself since at times I am still quite unsure of who uses domesticated meat and who needs the lokian bones.

Okay, so I am basically begging some of our more "on it" Ranger Elders to make a sticky post about crafters needs and what stats we should look for as we hunt.

I agree. I made a similar post/request only 3 days ago, but it quickly died down after a mention of hawtpants.

Ranger resource list

Also the concensus was that swgcraft.com would have a similar feature soon, so why duplicate the work or create one ourselves. I still say we should make a list for rangers and sticky it at the top. The new resource tree menu will be cool when it's implemented on swgcraft.com but we could still come up with one of our own in the meantime.

If nothing else, we should compile a list of the resources needed for wookie armor, doc resist buffs, RIS armor (all armor), Chef and BE goods, etc, along with their important stats and percentages.

I agree. You put it quite nicely since I hate wondering if this resource I just came upon would be useful to docs or chefs.. Would be nice to have the ins and outs of each crafting profession listed and what their needs are. This way we would use information to offset the loss of use in skillpoints.

as a quick guide, the SWG strategy book (which for the most part is useless) lists every creature and NPC spawn on every planet. That will give you a list of all the creatures and you can work from there.

also, the books'best feature, for me, was the listing of all the NPC trainers by city. That was so dang helpful on TC where there were exactly zero other Rangers.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

This would be very handy. All I want to know is

If I'm hunting meat for a chef, what is he/she looking for - OQ, PE, FL etc?

Same applies to Armorsmiths, Bio-Engs etc.

I don't care where different things come up or what each animal gives me. I can find that out in-game or at swgcraft.com. A rough idea of what's useful though, what is likely to sell - that would be good.

I'll go and ask the other profession boards and see what they say.
