Thread: quick quetion from a new ranger

Hi! Im a new ranger on bria server and was wondering about the area map on the bottom left hand side of the screen...there is an option for (con) on the upper left hand side...my quetion is ..besides the colored circles that tatget animals and such what is this good for? plz help ive looked on the forums but i have found no answers any help would be greatly appriciated!!

The circles that surround the dots on the radar represent the con of that mob. If you target one of the mobs on your radar, the circle goes away and is replaced with a thin blue reticle around that dot so you can tell which of the dots on your radar is actually targetted.
I think it's a nice feature letting you know what things con without you having to target them individually to find out.

The radar map map will also show lairs, which don't show up on the overhead map. And in dungeons, lootable containers appear as white squares.
Also, if you go into options>interface and disable "show terrain on radar," it makes it a little easeir to locate corpses of the things you have killed (they appear as x's on the radar screen).

It's basically the same thing as the /con command (consider) which tells you the difficulty of the creature, depending on your combat ability. The new con option on the radar just lets you see everything on the radar without doing /con on each creature individually.
