I am in need of a Valid and Accurate price list for creature resources for "The Hunter's Alliance" (Wanderhome)
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Wanderhome&message.id=268609
Such as for a BE or a Chef:
Meats (Also Specifics such as Insect Meat, or even Fish Meat etc)
PE + FL = 1800+ then Price = x
PE + FL = 1600 thru 1799 then Price = y
Stuff like that for each profession determined by what is the most important for the professions. (The stats etc)
And I need an abolutely honest answer.
Such a pricelist would really be good to have to go by. And from there we could help negotiate either lower or higher prices depending on various factors.

It might be different on Wanderhome but on Bloodfin this isnt possible. Organic pricing has a life of its own on the trade forums.

Obviously it changes, but there usually is a base price.
For the best of Quality Avian meats its almost always 100 CPU, for the best Herbivore meat I think it is 75.

saw your posts in the wanderhome forum and was going to try to get you some links there, but... since you're here... heh
A Pricing Guide for Animal Resources - explains a lot about the economics of selling creature resources (looks like you might have this down, but in the thread some people give more specific examples of pricing, which could be useful)
Ranger Resource Calculator - in the above thread Okiar offered up his spreadsheet
A Ranger Creature Resource Guide - how creature resources are used by each profession - will help you in establishing weights for the various attributes of your resources
and if you're really lucky... fred will drop buy and give some advice... he seems to be an expert on all things critter harvestable - from lair science to trading furs...
as for me... never sold resources for more than 1 cred per bundle, so... i'm not of much use except finding the old posts...

nice formula, but as a hard corp capatalist I always believe in pricing against my competitors and charging the highest amount according to what the current market will bear. My time is as valuable as any buffing doc, armorsmith, weapon smith etc. And not many of them are interested in not earning as much as they can with products and services. I salute the obvious thought and idea behind your pricing model, but I'll continue to make my millions with my time tested method :-)

Well Freyloch, I wish I was infact imbued with the power of controling a mico/macro economy. Btu, in fact Im not, I am a realist though. I guess you would have me not make my fair share of credits, and instead be a wandering mendicant "resource gatherer". Just happy to spend hours getting resources so other players can then charge thier "value added" cost and still make a pile of credits. Wake up and smell the carmelized peckneb pal. This game, like every other MMORPG and infact all RPGs is about getting cool stuff to let you play against more difficult and thus higher reward giving creatures/npcs. If you are one of those ppl lucky enough to bethe recipeint of a trust fund, or a vist from Ed Macmahon, good for you, but the rest of us have to make our way in the real world and SWG is a mirror of that way of life too. The economy of the game is just a reflection of game play. Im glad that SOE takes a laz a faire attitude to the economics (other than banning dupers) I started out just like most other players, running missions etc and worked my way up the ladder through hours of increasing skills and knowledge of game. If you find prices to steep for your liking then try looking on a less demanding server, TC maybe? But please don't assume that everyone wants there to be some sort of euro-crap socialist workers paradise on SWG vis a vis the economy of the game.
oh yeah, i hate anime too :-)
