Thread: Macroing?

It was brought to my attention that there is a way to macro harvesting of animal parts. Maybe this is well known (I'm new to the profession), can someone clue me in, or is it bogus? There is some decent Insect meat on Corelliea, but the only thing I can find that drops it are those piddley little butterflies. If there are no macroes (which I dont know how there could be), does anyone know something else to hunt to turn the meat efficiently?

If you are talking about an afk macro... well use of those is gnerally considered bad form. I've heard of people who have been willing to use them, but never actually done so myself.

Macro for harvesting - do this in macros and attach it to a hotkey on your toolbar - I use meat and hide primarily -
/lootall
/harvest(resource)
If you mean AFK, look someplace else and don't let a real Ranger catch you using one, as there are ways to mess you up. Not that I would do that of course.

Yeah please tell us you dont mean the afk harvest macro. We really dont to start that thread up again grrr
There is no auto-harvest macro for what you kill in the field either unfortuantly you have to target each corpse and hit them with the loot all;/harvest (organic)

It'd be dangerious as heck but you could loop /target corpse; /loot; /harvest stuff; I wouldn't try it on Endor, lol. Cause your target will be changing all the time, hehe.
I remeber the first "Rasp Macroer" I saw... I had just got a camo kit for that planet, and his gun was just powerfull enough that they where dead before they even had a chance to see through it. Now if he had only had auto join on, lol.
