Forgive me if this is a rehash.
Is it still correct that the Scout/Ranger Creature to hit bonus gives no benefit to Combat Specials? If so, why?
It doesn't make any sense to handicap a major skill set of these professions in this manner, especially since you can't hunt the tougher creatures without using your specials.
With the combat upgrade upcoming, is this something that is going to be addressed? The creatures I don't need specials to attack are the creatures I don't need a bonus to my to-hit number to kill, so this is just a wasted bonus...

I've recently been testing some Chef food that adds to creature-to-hit bonus, and I too was unsure if this applied to just auto-attacks. It would appear so, as I noticed no difference while spamming headshots constantly aiming for the head

so funny and soo lame.
funny because i just came here to ask the same question about creature to-hit bonus...
lame, because that's just one more thing that makes our prof full of pointless and USELESS perks :'(
if it wasn't for the fact i'm playing a ranger just for the sake of role playing and fun....i would laugh my azz off at anyone for waisting the points on the most pointless profesion of ALL time. Ranger should be the coolest and most self-suficient of them all...what the heck where they smoking when they made the ranger template?????

Even if that specific perk *would* work (I honestly doubt anyone has done testing extensive enough to gather enough data that would make a statistic about this worth looking at) I doubt I'd notice it, misses on creatures are rare enough that I do not really care :-).
