Thread: Help on camo kits please!

I was just wondering, are camo kits any good compared with mask scent? or are they only used to mask other party members scent?

Mask Scent is creature only
Conceal is NPC/Creatures
As a ranger conceal is better then mask scent more times then not

Maskscent give Scouting XP equal to three times the level of the creature you sneak past, camo gives only two-times the XP.
Camo can be applied to other group members and you get XP when THEY sneak past a creature.
Camo works against many (but not all) NPC's most (but not all) of the time.
Camo last longer that maskscent but maskscent is "free" and camo must be crafted from specific resources.
I use both.

Do we have to be within a certain range to get our XP this way? Reason I ask is because I have sneakily camo'd a few people at Dath Science Outpost and the XP spam seems to stop after a short while. I'm unsure if this is because they have gone out of range or just because it has broke

I find i get exp when i'm within 65m of red dot.

Sorry, I mean do we get our xp only if we are within a certain range of the other players we have camo'd (who then need to be within 64m of agro for our camo to work)? Does that make sense?

Aah.. hmmm. /shrug
I do remember one time getting scout exp when i'd just shuttled to astarport. But I can't remember if i had /conceal'ed a bunch of people prior to a trip. Twas odd.
