Just curious about this, since I was interested in getting another krayt skull.

I know that I can talk to a planet record keeper to do a quest a second time.. like the bol skull, or theme parks.

But what about the krayt skull quest? I've done it once, but want another. Do I have to clear my records on naboo, where it starts? Or do I have to clear it naboo, corellia and Tatooine since it takes place on all three planets.

Has anyone done this quest twice, and if so, what planet record did you clear?

You can talk to the planetary record keeper (there's one at the back door to Mos Eisley cantina, usually dressed in police uniform. Another at the exit from Dant MO (an Imp NCO))

They will give you the chance to reset your quest records, but be careful, you can do this ONCE.*

Once you do it you can go back and talk to NPC mission givers a second time, do their quests over and get a second set od rewards. Make sure you don't still have the original rewards or any quest items in your inventory jic it bugs the current run. (ie, don't take Huff's grandads rifle AND the one you stole before)


* Back in the old days, we used the Dant one to reset our quests as there's an officer in the bunker there will give you a series of short, simple quests that earn 50k and a pile of FP. (Course that's when 100k was a fortune and not pocket change )

I think yo uneed to get another CorSec badge to be able to get a second Krayt Skull. So you have to finde somebody who will give/sell you one. As far as I know this is the only way to get another Krayt Skull without buying it.
I havent tryed this mysell, but some of my friends say that it works this was.

Now that harvest discussions have died down a bit, I'm revisiting my original thread.

My question was, has anyone done this quest twice? Did you have to talk to the record keeper and reset all three planets? (Naboo, Corellia and Tatooine?)

What Wuzi said was interesting, but it still seems like you'd need to reset Tatooine and Corellia. Actually, when I finished that part of the quest, my corsec badge never disappeared. If anything, it seems like you'd have to get another Tusken King rifle to give to Huff Darklighter.

I should probably just go ahead and reset my records, since I've done all the NPC quests (and both the rebel and Imp theme parks, plus Jabba and the Valarians) on those three planets anyway. But you never know what might be introduced down the road, and I'd hate to miss out on doing something new twice.

Can it be started again by just resetting Naboo? (the start of the quest)

Sorry kimi, didn't notice what you'd actually asked.

As far as I know you only have to reset it with any one of the PRK's. They all use the same dialogue (referring to your missions on Tatooine) but it resets all planets.


This years Wookiee Life Day is a case in point of stuff being introduced later and you find yourself thinking "oh I wish I could go round again, get another painting to swap so I can have a full set......"

And who knows WHAT might be introduced in coming publishes....

Oh!! I'd seen different public records keepers, but I thought ther were for individual planets. Must have been the diaglogue, like you said, that confused me.

Well, if one resets all planets at once, I guess that's the answer to doing the krayt skull quest again. I probably better recheck and make sure I've completed all NPC quests first, before I actually reset them.

I thought that the record keeper only reset the quests for that planet as well.
