I have recently hit Novice Ranger and I'm lovin the "High Quality" camp. How ever most of the time I'm playing it's just me and I preffer the look of the "basic camp" when there's only onoe person in a camp. I'm just weird that way, seems more real. Anyway, what I don't want to do is sacrifice the creature repelling capabilites of the High Quality Camp. So my question is, is it the camp that is equiped or the person that set it up that dtermines the security of the camp. Thanks all....

Heh...creatures aren't repelled by any camp, so there you go.

right... while the description of the higher level camps say that they repel critters, they do not. the main difference is the healing rate, resources usedand appearance.
but we hope this doesnt stay like that and more functionality will be added.

I've been sitting, unmasked, in my highest end camp with a couple of mates and had rancors walk right up to us, sniff us, and walk off.
And I've had rancors--and kreetles--molest me while sitting in them.
It's rather random. Don't rely on it to repel anything, but it sometimes works.

Oh dear- so I have been taking screenies of that Kimogilla in my camp COMPLETELY VULNERABLE TO ATTACK?!?! LOL- that was why poor Catsup bought it on Lok! Mystery solved.

Your security with the HTFB comes from when 5 combatants stop by to say "where'd this come from?" While they're there you have a lot of security (if they don't bring agro with them)
