Hey there. I used to play Ultima Online and was always intrigued by the Hide/Stealth abilities. Does Conceal do the equivelant of Hide/Stealth for a Ranger? And to what extent does it conceal the character? Does it actually render the character's avatar invisible? Thanks for the low down.

The original intent of conceal was to reduce the detection range of creatures and NPC's. As faras I could tell, it worked pretty well until the last few weeks of beta. Then it caused problems with the creature and NPC AI, so they removed it. Conceal was never meant to act like the stealth abilities found in EQ or DAoC, where the player disappears from sight. The devs were fairly clear about not putting that kind of stealth in the game.

I dunno why but I decided to visit the very last page of theRanger Forumsand this on was at the bottom so I thought I'd jump it from the very bottom to the very top for kicks.
