CU has done nothing but hammer and nerf the ranger profession, and this is fine sort of because everyone else has been as well.

It was however a bit.. what should we say.. annoying to see all the skills of ranger(minus track) being scattered over all the other professions without the nuisance of being creature only. Pistoleers and carbineers root, snare, stun, intimidate, blind whatever they feel like whilst doing lots of nice damage and still have skillpoints to enhance themselves further.

But by all means, that's ok, the professions are better for it and carbine was in need of love.

It was however quite detrimental when I saw a jedi pop out of visual existence with "cloak".

Yep, ranger, the guy with the whole branch and master dedicated to staying out of view was inadequate to use that kind of stealth.

The reason of course was that this skill has been another nugget to the jedi all along.
