While fighting tonight, i stuck adhesive mesh traps but nothing happened. There was no effect on the voritor and I got chased down even after sticking the trap.
I didn't have time to stay onlie and test this on various planets/creatures so for those of you who are keen, I was fighting horner voritors off the mission terminal as a level 69 carbineer vs. a level 70 lair (yellow con).
Has anyone else experienced this problem or problems with other traps?
If this is something that's been discussed plent, I've been away and may have missed it so please forgive me. However, I'm very discouraged by this bug. IMO, this is the single most useful trap (despite the silly 2 stack size) and plan on using it lots with my new ranged template.
Owen and JB; hopefully you can work some of that magic you both wield so well.

Adhesive Mesh IS currently bugged. As it stands our most useful trap appears to be the P-Dart which currently applies a "tranquilizer dart" state. It slows down creature progression and in some cases even creature attack speed from what I've witnessed.
I made an interesting discovery surrounding startle as well. If you have any KDs or other posture down attacks you can apply the "startled" state and it slows down a creatures ability to return to a normal rate of movement. I can't remember off hand what traps are currently applying "startled" but I'm pretty sure they're the traditional ones.

I think I posted this once before, but I tried it again tonight with the same results
I had made factory crates of all the traps up through trapping 3 (before the blue frogs opened up skill builders) so I have several crates of each on me... I put one of each in my toolbar with a macro
/ui action toolbarSlot14;
/pause 5;
/ui action toolbarSlot15;
/pause 5;
... etc ...
/macro trapmacro
too lazy at the moment to look at which were doing what... I'm pretty sure they weren't all matching up though (like when I think I manually clicked on L-dart I saw the critter get bliinded, but I can't verify if I actually clicked on that trap or my cursor slipped).
At any rate, some time during the fight and tossing of these traps, the critter became rooted and never really did unroot, so I was able to stand back and shoot it at my leisure

Thank heavens! Not that it's good that the trap is bugged, but I'd thought it just had an abnormally short root time after the CU hit. I couldn't really tell, as I was paying too much attention to my toolbar to see if the cooldown would let me use another attack....

I imagine that once we all get more familiar with our toolbars and out new actions, it will become second nature and you won't be looking much longer. At least, this is how I imagine it will go for me.
Now... about this trap bug. What's the word owen? are the devs aware? Is it being worked on? Have you mentioned it on the Corr boards? I'm just curious to know where we stand on this. I rely heavily on this trap to ensure survival and want to continue making us of it.
cheers!
