I'm going to do a run of each this evening.. does the quality ( OQ+SR) of the hides matter in this?? or in any other scout/ranger crafting? say for camps?

Quality has NO impact for Traps or Camps. Use the crappiest stuff you can find.

Quality DOES matter for the production of Camo kits. The higher the OQ, the more charges you will get in each camo kit.

Camo kits can be experimented on, whereas camps and traps cannot.

And, at Master Ranger you have 13 points to experiment on Camo Kits with, yet it is not listed in our skill boxes.

But don't you max out on experimentation with points left over? I always have 2 or 3 unused experimentation points.
Interesting that it's not listed though... definitely /bug it. It seems as though the Devs ARE paying close attention to bugs with all the CU changes, so make sure you're /bugging stuff while their eyes are peeled.

I wouldn't bug extra experimentation points. Sometimes I don't have nice resources to make camo kits. I need as many points I can get.
