i think what he is going for is: how much Force Sensitive XP do you get for capping scout xp, as a Master Ranger? i was kind of wondering the same thing. will ranger be a goodprofession for the xp grind, withall of thelarge groups out hunting? is anyone out there using master ranger exclusively for this purpose, and is it working well for you?

thanks for the input, in advance.

I would say that weapons xp is probably still faster - since you can trade in both weapons and combat. I have been trading in my rifle and combat xp and my scout and CH xp. I have filled one and a half boxes in reflexes and only half a box in senses.

Well, it depends what level they set te scout xp cap at one they fix the present cap! (Currently it caps at 600k when trying to get master, which needs 1 mill xp)

Other '1 Mill Proffs' have reported their cap once master is now 1.5 million xp - Which if follows to Ranger will meant 1.5 million xp converts into 187500 Force Sensitive XP.

And in response to 'go for combat-related boxes' You can still do this too, as you have to kill the critters in the first place after all!! lol Actually its easier to do combat (conventionally of course, its still not as quick as those people who used grenades pre CU) - because professions can use a lot more weaponry per profession, as for a great amoun it is combat level certed only, you can rack up a lot more caps in experience. Eg, I am Master Ranger/Master BH (eurgh) - I Can use my bowcaster, scatter pistol and BH carbines... and so far it seems I have a high cap for all of them..

This means I have 3 times the trade in value on weapons xp, and my average combat xp tradein will be 3 times higher also. - Plus the Scout Xp on top. You're looking at a hefty amount of xp per village run.

Hope this helps,

BR

Last night I was running around naboo for bristley hide.

I was getting 1XP for rifle. Hmmm well I was after hide anyhow so I didn't care.

But I was getting 800-3000 scouting XP harvesting from the 1XP kills.

I finshed the night up with 100K rifle and 330K scouting.

I noticed that the speed mod not shows properly in Ranged Speed on the character sheet.

I dropped melee speed last night and picked up ranged speed to test the mods out. At least it displays properly now.

I think I am going to drop Luck entirely getting additional credits is not much value compared to getting more speed or accuracy.

Scouting xp caps at master at 1.2 million. The conversion ration is 1 to 8 (I think), so that would be 150000 fs xp for each cap. Trapping XP caps at 300,000 for master (capped it last night). I'm not sure what the conversion ratio is.
