My fellow Rangers,

I am trying to master ranger before the axe drops on our proud profession, but i have hit a snag. I am CL72 Master Riflewoman and 444x Ranger when i pull missions my lvl or enter a grind group i can go thru 2 to 3 crates of traps and no xp. Am i doing something wrong or is it the game itself. any advice or help would be nice

tsk tsk. First you should've read the stickies. But, I won't get mad. Get some dweezel. Always have that in your belly when out hunting for trapping xp. The way to grind through trapping is to do it at the same time you're grinding scouting xp. Try the dweezel method next time. It'll take awhile to get the xp now but it should help land a few of those traps. The problem with trapping is your trap "to hit" number is based off of your trapping skill versus the animals CL. The reason why you are having issues is because you're hunting level 80+ creatures with a trapping skill of 60 or less. With dweezel your trapping skill should go up to near 80 which will allow you to trap what your group is hunting a bit easier. IT IS STILL GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME, so be patient. I hope that helps.
