Will players be looting hide/meat/bone or do certain professions have a 'harvest' option ?

I recieved a necklace that gave me a +3 to creature harvesting. My guess its around there somewhere.

Yeah, I wonder if/how that worked...I was thinking that MAYBE everyone had an innate Creature Harvesting (i.e. chance to loot) that this affected. Knowing the devs, this was really just an oversight/boo boo (and yes it was odd to remove all hunting professions and add a set noobie missions referred to as hunting).

Does anyone on TC Corbantis notice if the amount of randomly looted hide/bone/meat increases with either the level of the creature or your combat level?
I was able to shoot rills and loot 5 units of meat for instance with my level one crafter. I'm wondering if you have a level 80 combatant and tackle a rancor if you loot 500 units as an example?

I killed a Roba on TC - Corbantis once I figured out a little of what I was doing. You can no longer harvest. You loot like on Kash or Mustafar. I looted a liver. God knows how armor is made from livers.

Don't count on that necklace doing much as of now...
As Calc points out - it's not uncharacteristic for the Devs to create loot tables with variables based on skill mods they removed in early beta. lol
