Thread: need help with trapping

what the best way to gain xp on traps??
i been told i can do trap in about 1hr on dathomir doin rancor well was i in for a shock...
i lobbed about 20-30 traps adhesive mesh,glowjuice and wire and all failed?
ok any ideas?

I got three levels of Trapping Exp today in Ranger. I went to the squill cave, its around 0,0 on Tat. I got 500 exp for guardians, 450 for regular mountain squills and like 200 for smaller squills. I usually lured a guardian alone and had my buffs and armor on and just lobbed traps at him wire mesh and glow juice for a while.... Boring as hell, I capped each time and then visited the nice ranger trainer at 1240, 3356, I memorized the waypoint I have visited him so much.

get armoured/buffed up and medic skills. head to dant, pick a fight with a voritor, peace and toolbar slot /heal macro. Go afk,come back later kill voritor. Reload bar and rinse. Should get the whole lot in a few hours.

Well I am not sure what all you can do. But I found Trapping to be the easiest of teh Trees. I finsihe dit first both in Scout and Ranger...
Go do your hunts and then during the downtowm your grinding out the Camping Build yourself 3 or 4 complete sets of all the traps you can use. Then go looking for the biggest targets you can.
Today we did a guild hunt for Ranchors. I was getting anywhere from 750-1440 per trap depending on type. 75-80% actually even worked... At the lower levels(last weeK) It was still easy on Naboo . 400s For Fambaa, Squill on Tatoo were in the High 200s low 300s per trap. It adds up quick if your in a group and can just toss traps until your out. They help the shooters and the unarmed guys since they slow up the target .
