Greetings my fellow rangers, and gather round and hear the tale of my epic rancor hunt of 2004.

Publish 10 dropped on live on August 31st. The old man visited me after 2 days biwan:, followed by the Sith a day later .Like many others, i have been grinding nearly non stop to lear my first FS branch. My favorite thing to hunt for massive xp are Rancors, thescourge of Dathomir. I wandered across the Valley of the Rancors, slaughtering all in my path, stopping only to rebuff and heal my weary mind at the cantina. My hammer cracked across their thick skulls, my scythe ripping apart their soft underbellies, and they yielded to me their rich flesh, which was quite good this week. For hours on end I tracked them across the valley. Hoards of rancors fell before my feet.

I mentioned that this was the "Epic Rancor Hunt of 2004" didn't I?

In 10 days, I harvested nearly 1 Million units of Rancor Meat!

It was 970k units to be exact. 890 OQ and 972 PE. This will stand for all time as my greatest single accomplishment as a Galaxies player.

I didn't mean to brag, but I had to share my tale of mass harvesting.

I'd hate to brag, but since last sunday I've harvested 900k dantooine wooley hide, and more is to come. (armorsmiths are paying way too good money for this stuff to let any time go)

500k rancor meat to one Chef BE, 400k rancor meat to another, 100k rancor meat to the guild. 50k dath herbivore to a doctor, 100k dath herbivore to the guild. Total 1.150.000 units during one shift. Did I win?

First off, Excellent Job!! wow you need to hit the one million mark!! I think I'm going for hide and bone to make camps and traps, sure the meat sells, but I have been recently inspired to put up a ranger station that sells ranger related goods on Naritus.

Where is this valley of the Rancor? Can someone supply a general waypoint? Thanks.

Start at the trade outpost and head for the Sarlacc POI. About 1500m from it you will start to see a lot of Rancor red cons. Well normall you would. But since they are the current jedi grind item. It might be a busy place
