I had a great idea the other day. Since ranger is so messed up and the only useful column is tracking, I propose a revolutionary idea. The master ranger should have a "camera" ability, or something like that, that takes a screenshot and turns it into a schematic for a painting in your datapad.You can then sell the schem to an architect and have your own portraits of nature! The"negative" would be good for like 5-10 "developments" if you will. Thats my 2 cents worth (schillings?).

I dunno. Not a bad idea per se.

Well morea lover of nature. Think of a bird watcher or how a hunter watches the creatures that they arent killing. An appreciation for the wonders of the wild.

I think that would be a welcome idea.. custom nature art for peoples houses. I also think that we should get a bonus special for role-play and pvp purposes, where we can force the "William Tell Overature" as background music for all players in a given radius around us.

And it should give wilderness xp like 1000 per picture so we can finish camping faster.

No really this is a good idea that will go nowhere. Maybe some dev will see this and go "Well that wouldnt take to long". It would be a good money generator.

The problem is database space. Unless they limit the screenshots that can be made (i.e. make them paintings), there is no real way to store all the information on the server. I'd love to have this but I doubt they'll be able to implement this with the current hardware. It just takes too much memory and bandwidth (unless they add every ranger picture taken to hotfixes every time it is taken...).

Well, it was a good idea as far as it went, yep. But yeah, the artwork storage would be bonkers.
