Yup they do.
If you dont have alot of friends (not making fun or anything because some people are very reclusive) or willing fellow campers then a good way to speed up the leveling process is to sit in camp and craft camps.
If my memory serves me well, camps give much better xp than traps do.
I dont think camo kits give xp for crafting them, i cant be too sure on that one. Oh and making camps using a factory give 0 xp incase you didnt already know that.

I never would have had the patience to level wilderness otherwise. At least mindlessly crafting things is better than mindlessly sitting in camps. So I combined the two tasks. Made camps(usually practice mode)- crafted until camp points were capped - disband camp - rinse and repeat.

I sat in camps and crafted traps until I filled my bag, went out and trapped creatures until I ran out of traps, repeat until trapping exp was full. Now that I can cash in exp for force points, grinding survival in Ranger would be easy, cause when I max on I can cash it in and not waste my time

Yes.. Once you get frontiering 2, crafting the Field Base kit (not HTFB) will give you close to 200xp per camp.
As for traps, you get more XP from more complex traps. However, Glow wire (12 complexity) is the most efficient to craft. (10 hide, 7 bone, 3 organic... ie. 10 hide, 10 bone or whatever) You can also fill your pack up with them, and repeatedly throw them rather than wait for the state effect to wear off.

To killfour birds at the same time -and not really break too much of a sweat
Camp. Make traps, a lot of traps. And make extra traps. And some camps.
Then go hunting. Use the traps, harvest. You get XP for camping, crafting traps, trapping xp, scouting xp, weapons xp and combat xp. Literally a great deal, as you got 4 types of xp for basically the act of killing one creature. And harvesting resources you need anyhow.
Use the harvested stuff to make traps and camps while camping. Do this forever... not really, it just takes a while tho.
Once you master, and get glowy, by golly... do it over and over and over to get FS xp.

I did this, too. If I remember right, you get around 170 wilderness survival xp per practice field base. After buying a 4k stack of metal, I would hunt, make a camp, craft 20 practice field bases, disband camp, play some more, then repeat. I always made it a point to make at least 20 practice bases per camp session, so after factoring in the points from the actual camping, each session was worth around 4000 xp, depending on whether or not I maxed out the time in camp. And then I was a master ranger, l33t3st of thel33t, pwner of all things sub-ub3r. I was, in verity, da bomb.
