Why am I getting one unit of hide/bone/meat?
"This is called the "Skinny bug"; it is caused by resource shifts in organic harvests. When a organic resource shifts it usually changes only one kind of resource, meat, hide or bone. When this shift occurs the new resource becomes "skinny" and only harvests 1 unit. The "skinny bug" always last one day. So if hunting Banthas and you are only getting one unit of hide, switch to another resource for the day andthe next day the Bantha will give its usual amount of hide.
This is not related to the recently fixed harvest reduction. It has been happening since launch. Maybe I shouldn't call it a bug, maybe it is intentional, who knows?"-- Dekas Olo

Why doesn't /areatrack give me a waypoint?
Areatrack is an assessment of the creatures/npcs/players in your immediate area (generally up to 500m). The /track skill has been promised, in some form, at a later time. Check out N'Raas' State of the Profession and Top 5 Correspondent Issues threads for suggestions and ideas about this skill.
Why doesn't /areatrack tell me _______?
As you progress up the trapping skill branch, you'll receive more detailed information. Initially, you'll just see the animals near you. Refer to the skill tree above for information on when you get what.
A note about Trapping/Camping
The devs are making enhancements and changes to these two skill trees. As such, expect a lot of things to change.
Camo kits, /conceal, /maskscent
Changes are on test center for these skills. Expect to see information updated as it changes and makes it to the live servers.

I have noticed that on my server (lowca) i get /tells all the time asking me how much do I enjoy ranger and what we can do.. Once i tell them, they are usually very excited. Now i can have a site to point them to

I must say, now that I see the skills laid out like this, it really points out how lacking trapping and frontiering are. jeeez. Can't wait for those changes.

Thank you! I'm at work, so I've checked every site that I know of and they listed the ones I wrote above; however, I would be in no way surprised if those sites are out of date. I'm assuming these are from in-game?

Yes, they are from in-game. And there are also Burst Run mods that you don't have in there. But I can't get on my computer to tell you what they are at the moment.
