i just started doing the hero of tat quests for myself yesterday and i did the intellect quest today. i went looking for the BH npc and his pirate, "or where they smugglers?", all around tat npc cities. i logged off out of frustration and remember that i needed to do something ingame. So i logged back in and turned around to go to the starport and i walked about.............30m and stumbled across the BH and all of the pirates. I nearly fell out of my chair.

So is it ranger luck, Christmas, or just dumb luck. im gonna say it was all of em combined lol.

I found the BH and cronies in 2 stops. The boar in less than 5 minutes.

The rancher/moisture farmer was found in under 15 minutes.

The freaking pirates took about4 hours of looking, but now I stumble over then all the time.

Nevertheless, kick butt. Badges are cool.

Took me 20 mins to find the Pirates today (majority of the spawns are east of Mos Eisley) about 2/3 away from the edge of the map is about how far their spawning range is.

had great fun today

I decided to go get the hero quest done found the whole lot in 1hr 30mins. I think today was my lucky day. I just got lucky with the tracking on the boar and pirates. The first town I checked for the bh was the right one. The moisture farmer I ran across traveling from espa to bestine.

Ranger Rules!!!

A couple of weeks ago, I helped a very polite and friendly jedi (who has since become a friend) to do two of the hero quests. After laying down the usual law and high prices for an hour's tracking of the pirate leader and finding nothing, I was so impressed by his attitude that I logged on later in the day to see if I could help him out (free of charge).

Wouldn't you know it, started tracking - travelled 50m east and almost smacked into the pirate leader while looking the wrong way... needless to say the jedi was very pleased. Sometimes your luck is in and sometimes it's just plain out.
