Hi, I am half way through Ranger right now and have noticed alot of things that the ranger should have that they dont, I love being a ranger but at this moment their isnt a whole lot of use for us except for our tracking ability which is very limited, here are some Ideas on what I think rangers should get when we are revamped to make us more usefull in hunting and maby PVE/PVP battles.

-We should start getting trapps for use on NPC/PC targets of varying effect at trapping 2. Traps that restrict movement maby or some that cause status changing effects would add a great deal of usefullness in combat situations agenst NPC/PC targets

-Our area we can track creatures/NPC/PC in should slightly increase as we go up the tracking tree, we cant track all that much at the moment even tho our tracking helps alot in certain situations.

-We should have the ability to forage foods that lessen how bad your poisen/bleed is or maby even cure it. Becuase we are the outdoorsmen we should have some knowledge on what plants may help stop bleeding or cure poisens.

-Traps not working in caves needs to be fixed.

-conceal needs to be fixed, but maby add some bonuses to useing it in combat like making us a little harder to hit or make it if we go prone an dont move we are removes from radar.

-The to hit bonus needs to apply to Meele wepons as well as ranged.

-We should get swim modifyers in the Wayfaring tree to help us travel through water much quicker.

-give us more area effect traps at Master Ranger

Well these are things that I think would make us a overall better/more usefull profession. You may not agree with these that why id like some suggestions from other rangers on your ideas or changes to my ideas.

Oh and I forgot

-Exerimentation on our traps/camps/camo kits. currently right now I know you can experiment on camo kits but we have no experimentation points, I think it would also be very cool if you added some good ol crafting in with Ranger allowing us to experiment on uses on traps and maby on how long the effects will last.

"Our area we can track creatures/NPC/PC in should slightly increase as we go up the tracking tree"

Actually, it does now...We receive +50m for each level of Tracking.

And the following are already in the Wishlist:

"ability to forage foods that lessen how bad your poisen/bleed is or maby even cure it."

"Traps not working in caves needs to be fixed"

"add some bonuses to useing it in combat like making us a little harder to hit or make it if we go prone an dont move we are removes from radar."

"The to hit bonus needs to apply to Meele wepons as well as ranged."

"We should get swim modifyers in the Wayfaring tree to help us travel through water much quicker."

"give us more area effect traps at Master Ranger"

"Exerimentation on our traps/camps/camo kits."

They are very good suggestions indeed. If you have anymore,I'm sure we'd love to hear about them.

"looks like we will be getting a late Christmas gift"

Well... Hopefully we can think of it as anearly 2004 Christmas gift, if the developers do decide to implement some of our wishlist items (since it will probably be later in the year when they return to focus on us).

I must have missed when this originally came in... Does it start at 500 and go up, or start at 250?
